This epoxy resin coated slab was commissioned as a last gift for a terminally ill gentleman. It sat for decades in his garage waiting to be made into something special. His daughter reached out and explained how much it would mean for him to finally see it finished. It was sanded until it glowed but preserved the stains and bark as requested. The cracks and voids were filled with metallic turquoise epoxy resin and sealed it with a gloriously glossy topcoat. He loved it and we loved being a part of their family’s story.
